Nicholson Plumbing & Civil was engaged by the homeowner to deliver the excavation, drainage and retaining wall construction of a 40 metre retaining wall for a residential property in Hornsby.

The project presented challenging ground conditions, with significant groundwater, mud and sludge encountered during excavation. Using the auger attachment, we drilled through rock to install the retaining wall posts while managing the difficult site conditions and completing the drainage works required to address the ongoing groundwater issues.

By combining excavation, drainage and retaining wall construction, we provided the client with a complete solution that stabilised the site, improved drainage and created a durable retaining structure for the property.
